SATURN RETURNS Actually Saturn has been there all along, well mostly, it has progressed in its orbit around the Sun and is no longer in line with Jupiter. Saturn has been rising earlier and earlier and it is getting darker earlier too. Jupiter is rising in the later evening as well.

Ponca City Astronomy will be at the Ponca City RecPlex Friday evening, setting up around 6:00 PM so everyone can view the Moon and Saturn and if you hang around, later we will have Jupiter in the telescopes as well. We repeat this event on Saturday evening at Lake Ponca Campground. Our events are open to everyone and Free so please come see what we are looking at. Of course if it is cloudy we won’t be there so look at the weather before you come out.

For more information visit our facebook page at PoncaCityAstronomy or write to Richard at astro74601@gmail. com or call Richard at 580352-5292.
