Couple celebrates 60 years

Mr. Andrew C. Crowe and Mrs. Cynthia L. Crowe of Ponca City will celebrate their 60th anniversary on March 6, 2021. A reception will be held at a later date, hosted by daughter Andrea J. (Crowe) Simon and family; son Lance T. Crowe; daughter Brooke A. Leach and family.

Mr. Andrew C. Crowe and the former Cynthia L. Thomas were married on March 6, 1961 at a church in Sunnyvale, California. They made their first home in San Jose (Almaden), CA and later moved to Ponca City. They have resided in their present home for 57 years.

Andrew has been self employed, running his own building and carpentry business, for many years. He is a builder of homes in local and surrounding areas.

Cynthia worked as a legal secretary for Donald C. Welch, Attorney, worked at Conoco as an accountant for 22 years, retiring in February 2004, then went on to work for McPherson Enterprises, Inc, retiring in 2017. She is a licensed minister, has worked with several church organizations for 17 years, and is a professional singer.

The couple are members of Grace Tabernacle of Praise, Inc, and the Pentecostal Church of God.

The couple has raised three children, Andrea and Lance, both born in California, and Brooke, born in Ponca City. All three graduated from PO-HI.

They have five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
