Burbank First Baptist Church News

This is the first edition for 2024. Burbank First Baptist Church is excited about what is happening in the year to come. It hasn’t been scheduled yet, but we will have our annual Valentine’s Fellowship in February. February is also the month we serve a noon meal at the NOC Campas in Tonkawa. Last October, over 40 meals were provided for students and the facility that needed a meal break in the middle of their busy day. March 31st, we will have our annual sunrise service for Easter. After the schools are dismissed in May, we will start preparing for Vacation Bible school. The actual event will probably not occur until July. Well, that covers the first half of 2024. Praise the Lord that we are blessed with several young families that pitch in and help when needed. It truly does take a village to ensure that our fellowships meet the needs of people who want to worship and praise the Lord. I pray that you are attending a church that brings you joy. It is all about building relationships with people who are seeking to find a home church where Jesus is Lord. Make is one of your goals this new year to attend church as often as you can. Spend more time in prayer. Read God’s Word on a regular basis. Strive to serve the Lord with gladness in your heart. Make the first day of your week a day that sets the stage for the next six days.
