Tim Muniz to perform at Poncan Theatre

There are many good vocalists in the Ponca City area. Many of these are attractive individuals who can also entertain. It is rare to find an entertainer that has all of these qualities that, in addition, can reach out and touch the audience with heart-felt emotion. Tim Muniz, who grew up in Ponca City, is one such performer. Tim will be back on stage, by popular demand, at the Poncan Theatre Oct. 29 at 7:30 pm in the “Rewind” Show.

Minutes were read and approved. city Council minute highlights were reported with Preferential Tea at Eastern heights church on Nov. 7th. at 6:30 pm, attending members to bring potluck dishes. A speaker will be talking about “Supported Communities Lifestyles in Ponca City.”

SRN and United Way team up to Save Lives

For nine years the Survivor Resource Network and United Way of Ponca City have partnered to provide hope and help to survivors of violence seeking new direction for their lives through their Rapid Re-Housing program. Most community members are aware that Survivor Resource Network has an emergency shelter for victims, but few know how long and hard the road to safety is for families who have experienced domestic violence. The Rapid Re-Housing program is designed to ensure these families find safe, long-term housing and stable income so that they can stay independent and violence-free. We all win when those in our community are housed and have safe homes!
