The City Arts is pleased to announce the exhibition of artists Carl Petersen and Elaine Armstrong running from Thursday, October 13 through Saturday, October 22 with a closing reception on Tuesday, October 25 from 5-7pm in the John McNeese Gallery.

Petersen is a native to Ponca City and has been turning wood vessels since 2006. He has exhibited in festivals, shows and exhibitions across the United States, winning Best in Show at numerous events including multiple wins at the Ponca City Arts Festival. Armstrong views her art as way to honor, explore and imitate God’s ever-changing display of art. One of the City Arts organizations longest running members, Armstrong has won numerous awards at both the City Arts Membership Show and the Ponca City Arts Festival.

The John McNeese Gallery is located on the first floor of the City Central Building at 400 E. Central Avenue and is free and open to the public on Thursdays and Fridays from 10am to 6pm and Saturdays from 10am to 2pm, or anytime by appointment.
