“Haunted Halls” at Po-Hi

The Wildcat Theatre Company and Po-Hi Student Council banded together to present the “Haunted Halls” Halloween event on Friday, Oct. 20 and Saturday, Oct. 21. The haunted house on the first floor of the Howell building was a spooky event offered to the community. The students, and faculty, who made this possible put in an incredible amount of energy and effort into making this show the best possible.

Fall Ladies Night to be held downtown Nov. 3

Ponca City – Let the holiday shopping begin at Ponca City Main Street’s Fall Ladies Night! This fabulous biannual shopping event takes place in downtown Ponca City Friday, Nov. 3, from 5-9 p.m. with merchants showcasing their selection of clothes, jewelry, accessories, purses, hair care and beauty products, home goods and décor and much more. Shoppers will not only score great deals on items for themselves and loved ones, but they’ll enjoy treats and sips at many of the stores and live music by talented local musician Cassy Kendrick at Veterans Plaza.

Project31 provides community of support for breast cancer patients

October has been designated as Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) since 1985, and various pink ribbons, flags, and shirts are sights that are just as common as Halloween decorations during the month, as awareness of the disease and raising funds for research into causes, prevention and a potential cure is important.
