Ponca City Police Department investigating possible suicide

On Sunday November 23rd at 2:57p.m., the Ponca City Communications Center received a call of a possible suicide attempt. Ponca City Ambulance and Police responded to the wooded tree line area behind Liberty School. An 18 year old female , Ayanna Clark, was pronounced dead at the hospital. Ponca City Police Department and the Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating.

GlobalHealth Educates Oklahoma’s Medicare Beneficiaries, Caretakers During Annual Enrollment Period, Ending Dec. 7

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. –GlobalHealth, an Oklahoma-based health insurer, is raising awareness about the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) so that Oklahomans can better assess their Medicare options. The AEP is the time for current Medicare beneficiaries to review and make changes to their Medicare coverage options. AEP begins October 15th each year and ends on December 7th.

Threats/Harassment— An employee from the Opportunity Center requested an officer to the 1500 block of east Prospect on Tuesday at 9:46 a.m. in reference to a resident at this address who had tried to poison his roommate. An officer responded and a report was taken.
