The 2020 Festival of Lights opened the gates on Wednesday evening at Lake Ponca- Park. This year was a little bit different than usual. Visitors stayed in their cars and drove through the park to enjoy the lights. Children were greeted on either side of the car by Santa and Mrs. Claus who handed out gloves and snacks.

Walter William “Bill” Phillips, age 86, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away November 24, 2020, at his home. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 30, 2020, at Trout Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Williams officiating. He will be laid to rest at Odd Fellows Cemetery following the service. For those unable to attend, the service will be lived streamed. Stephen Pennington of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Monday afternoon, November 23, 2020, in Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 66 years. He was born on October 29, 1954 in Blackwell, Oklahoma the son of Harold G.
