JENKS -- The Ponca City Wildcats boys varsity wrestling team finished in fourth place in the Jenks Invitational Tournament held Friday and Saturday. There were 24 teams in the competition.

Chris Kiser, who was the tournament champion at 113 pounds was named the Outstanding Wrestler in the event. Also winning an individual championship was Gabe Roland at 215 pounds.

Others who placed were Jimmy Swenson, third at 106 pounds; Cameron Kiser third at 120 pounds and Jack Swenson, fourth at 126 pounds.

In a dual earlier in the week, the Wildcats, who are continuing to battle injuries, lost to No. 1 ranked Stillwater

64-6. Several Wildcat starters were unavailable for the dual. Preston Lee at 138 pounds and Trycten Boyer at heavyweight were the only Wildcats who posted wins. Both won by decision.
