Williams named All-State
Carson Williams of Ponca City has been named to the Large School East All-State baseball team by the Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association.
Williams, a senior, was named as a catcher, a position he has played for the Ponca City Wildcats since his freshman year.
Williams recently signed a letter of intent to play baseball next season at Eastern Oklahoma College.
As a member of the All-State team he will play in the All-State game 7 p.m. June 5 at David Allen Memorial Ball Park in Enid.
