The Ponca City Wildcat varsity boys wrestling team has been assigned to the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association Class 6A Regional tournament in Jenks.

The event will be Feb. 17-18. Sixteen teams will participate in the event. They are: Bartlesville, Bixby, Broken Arrow, Capitol Hill, Edmond Santa Fe, Enid, Jenks, Muskogee, Norman, Owasso, Ponca City, Putnam City West, Sand Springs, Southmoore, Stillwater and Tulsa Union.

Area smaller school teams will wrestle in the Class 3A West Tournament in Perry.

Participating in the Class 6A West Regional in Piedmont will be Choctaw, Deer Creek, Edmond Memorial, Edmond North, Lawton, Midwest City, Moore, Mustang, Norman North, NW Classen, Piedmont, Putnam City, Putnam City North, U.S. Grant, Westmoore and Yukon.
