PERRY -- Ponca City’s varsity boys wrestling team defeated the Perry Maroons for the second year in a row Tuesday night.

The Wildcats outpointed Perry 46-30. The Maroons have been a dominant force in Oklahoma wrestling circles for years.

Wildcats Connor Cox, Chris Kiser, Cameron Kiser, Jack Swenson and Gabe Roland won their weight level by falls.

In other action Tuesday, the Lady Cats team topped Will Rogers of Tulsa 60-18 and the Ponca City junior high defeated Perry 66-18.

Both the boys and girls varsity teams will compete in the Kansas City Stampede Dec.
