CLAREMORE -- Both Ponca City track teams were in competition last week in a track meet at Claremore.

The boys team finished in eighth place with 47 points. The team winner was Booker T. Washington with 93.5 points with Bishop Kelley finishing second with 79.5 points. Ponca City’s girls scored one point and finished 21st. Winning the girls team title was Muskogee with 115 points and Tulsa NOAH was second with 98 points.

Winning an individual championship was the Ponca City boys 4X400 relay team of Aven Hobbs, Luke Beiergrohslein, Victor Morfin and Jace Schneeberger.

Morfin was third in the high jump and Burton Miner was third in the 1600 meter run and fourth in the 3200.
