BARTLESVILLE -- Tuesday, the Ponca City High School swim team participated in a meet with Tulsa Union, Bartlesville and Wesleyan Christian.

Both the Ponca City girls team and boys team came out of the event with one win and two defeats.

Pitted against Tulsa Union, the girls lost 96-60; against Bartlesville they lost 127-34, but against Wesleyan Christian they came away with a 68-22 win. The boys defeated Wesleyan Christian 108-12, but lost to Tulsa Union 85-76 and lost to Bartlesville 91-69.

Earning first place finishes for Ponca City were the boys 200-yard medley relay team of Kyle King, Braden Stewart, Timothy Crank and Tanner Estes, the boys 200 freestyle relay team of Kyle King, Braden Stewart, Tanner Estes and Timothy Crank; Crank in the 50 freestyle and Mattie Shearer in the girls 50 freestyle.
