The Ponca City varsity basketball teams have most of a week to prepare for the season’s first games at home Friday against Lawton. The girls’ game is scheduled to begin at about 6:30 p.m. and the boys’ contest will follow in Po-Hi’s Robson Field House. Lawton’s boys are 3-0 and ranked No. 20 in Class 6A by the OSSAA rankings.
