OOLOGAH -- Ponca City Wildcat swimmers came home with the combined team title from a meet Tuesday night in Oologah.

The WIldcats scored a total of 176 points to win the event. Second was Oologah with 110 points, third was Claremore with 32, Tulsa Memorial had 21, Adair finished with 20 and Coweta and Collinsville scored five points.

Heather Harris is the Ponca City coach.

The Wildcats lost twice in an earlier meet against Enid and Bishop Kelley at the Ponca City RecPlex. In girls’ scoring Enid topped Ponca City 150-37 and defeated Bishop Kelley 148-49. Bishop Kelley defeated Ponca City 96-46. Inboysscoring,Enid defeated Ponca City 124-62, but lost to Bishop Kelley 12976. Bishop Kelley defeated Ponca City 158-35.

In combined totals, Enid was a double winner, defeating Ponca City 274-99 and Bishop Kelley 224-178. Bishop Kelley outpointed Ponca City 254-81.

The Wildcats competed without five of their key swimmers who were in a Pro-Am event in Lewisville, Texas.
