NEOSHO, Missouri -- The Maverick men’s soccer team took another tough loss on the road at Crowder College 3-1.

Crowder scored an early goal off of a long throw to take the lead. The Mavs came back to tie minutes later with a goal from Ethan Bartee with Lewis Albert getting the assist. Crowder would add two goals later in the first half, one off of a penalty kick. Neither team could score in the second half.

“I’m proud of the effort that our guys play with,” said coach Michael DuRoy. They haven’t quit on the season. We are improving in some areas. We are looking forward to playing on Sunday at NEO.”
