Honor to be chosen for Hall of Fame right away
Apparently, it is near the time when the people who vote on which players get inducted into baseball’s Hall of Fame do their task. I have read three or four sports writers who think that Adrian Beltre is a shoo in to be named in the first year he is eligible.
