A GROUP of former Ponca City Lady Cat volleyball players gathered at Robson Field House Saturday to challenge the current Lady Cat team. The alumni game is an annual event and a sign that the upcoming season is near at hand. According to Lady Cat Head Coach Jennie Hinterreiter, “The current Ponca team prevailed against both the ‘young’ and ‘old’ alumni teams. In the epic young vs. old, the young came out on top.” The first official volleyball match is scheduled Aug. 10 at Norman. Photo provided.
