Dye named to OCA All-Star team
Grant Dye of Ponca City has been named to the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-Star team by Region.
Dye, a 6-foot-7 forward, was named to the Class 6A Large East team. He averaged 17.7 points per game for Coach Ivan McFarlin’s Wildcat team during the recently completed season.
In addition to Dye’s selection, area players Gunnar Gordon of Pawnee and Brody Roe of Morrison were named to the OCA All-State basketball team. Gordon is a 6-foot-4 forward who averaged 21.5 points per game for the Black Bears and Roe is a 6-2 forward who averaged 16.2 points for Morrison.
