Scott Lynn Hisey, of rural Ponca City, passed from this world on Friday, January 28, 2022, at the age of 50. Scott was born on July 20, 1971 to Myrlene and Gary McCulloch, in Sapulpa, OK.

In 1983, Scott was adopted by Gene E. Hisey. During this time, Scott helped Gene with the Hisey Water Well Service while attending Burbank School.

Scott attended Pioneer Area Vo-Tech, training in “Auto Mechanics:, and graduated from Ponca City High School in 1990.

At the time of his death, he was employed by the Ponca City School system, working at West Middle School as custodian.

He and his wife, Amy, were presently living on a small farm belonging to his Step-Dad, Philip Stokesberry. Scott loved his life there, working along-side Amy, taking care of numerous farm animals, building a greenhouse and planting and growing things. He and Dad Phil worked on many vehicles and spent much time together taking care of things there.

Scott enjoyed nature and was fascinated by anything science-related, and always was trying to figure out how he could make, build or fix something.

His most treasured time, was spending time with “His Girls”, Ashley and Kelley, and granddaughters, Penelope, Linda, Sylvia and Natalie. They were his World!

Scott had a sense of humor, and loved to tease and joke around. He wanted others to laugh and enjoy life as much as he did.

Scott is survived by his wife, Amy, of the home; his daughters, Ashley Hisey, Wellington, KS and Kelley Joy Sullivan and husband, Doug Jones, Ponca City; granddaughters, Penelope, Linda, Sylvia and Natalie; his Mother, Myrlene and “Dad”, Philip Stokesberry; Father, Gary McCulloch and wife, Jeanne, Braman; Sister, Gina Hunter-Brown, Glenpool; Brothers, Arthur Hisey and wife, April, Phoenix, AZ; Kyle McCulloch and wife, Sarah, Glenpool; numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and his beloved dog, Bacon-Bit.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and Dad, Gene.

Family and Friends will have a Memorial Celebration, in honor of Scott, at a later date.
