Robin Janelle Knight Warrior, resident of Ponca City, OK, went to be with the creator on April 20, 2022, at OSU Hospital in Tulsa, OK, surrounded by her children and other loved ones. She was 69 years young. A public viewing will be held at Trout Funeral Home on Monday, April 25, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at the Ponca Tribal Cemetery at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 26, 2022. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.

Robin was born May 28, 1952, in Ponca City, OK, the daughter of Louis Knight and Vernalee Knight. She grow up in Ponca City where she graduated high school in 1970. She played softball for 45 years. Robin was in fastpitch during her high school days. She worked for the FBI after graduating high school, before working for her people the Ponca Tribe for 25 years. Robin’s love for children sent her to work for The Country Day School for 15 years. For the remainder of her life, she worked for Ody’s Bar.

Robin in her youthful days was invited to be head lady dancer for her tribe and played on a traveling softball team where she met many life-long friends. Some of her favorite hobbies were going to the casino, playing bingo, and being with her friends and family.

She was beloved by all who knew her and she was always willing to help her friends and family in need. Robin leaves behind to mourn her loss, her children, daughter, Cresta Hudson; son, Ponca ChildCheif Warrior, son, Tyler Warrior, son, Brady Warrior; also sisters, Gina Ewing, Vicky Scavezze; brothers, Vincent Knight of New Mexico, Dr. Phillip Knight, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Vernalee Knight, father, Louis Knight, Mother-in-law, Mildred Horsecheifeagle Warrior, and her late husband, Ponca C.M. Warrior.
