Robert Wayne “Robbie”

Martin, resident of Gordo, AL and formerly of Newkirk, died Sunday, September 27, 2019 in Aliceville, AL. He was 47.

The son of Wayne Martin and Ruth Lawrence Martin Raub, Robbie was born April 22, 1972 in Wellington, Kansas. He was an employee of Lewis Brothers Lumber Company in Aliceville, AL and attended Gordo First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Hope Murko-Martin; daughters, Annie Wiechman and husband Josh of Wichita, Jessica Young and husband Tyler of Reform, AL, Lauren Grace Murko and Emma Murko both of Gordo; sons, Dustin Hollingsworth and wife Sarah, Levi Thomison and wife Kaylie, all of Ponca City, and Briar Martin of Gordo; his stepfather, Don Raub of Arkansas City; a sister, Anna Robinson and her husband Terrance of Braman and Kelly Wentling and husband Dave of Branson, MO; brother; Eddie Raub and his wife April of Eldorado, KS; and ten grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and parents-in-law.

Memorial Services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, Oct. 2 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Marvin McCormick officiating. Skelton Funeral Home of Reform is in charge of Arrangements.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday Oct. 5 in the First United Methodist Church of Newkirk with the Rev. Susan Rice officiating. Miller-Stahl Funeral Service is in charge of local arrangements. paid obituary
