Mary Lou (Louisa) (Mason) Johnson went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 2, 2023 with her family by her side. She was born on November 6, 1937 in Strang, OK to William Thomas Mason and Eva Catherine (Blackwell) Mason.

At the age of 8 years old she went to live at Whitaker State Childrens home in Pryor, OK. At the age of 10, she moved to the American Legion Childrens Home in Ponca City, OK.

She attended Ponca City High School where she met the love of her life, Raymond Gene Johnson. They were married in October 30, 1954 in Ponca City and were married for 43 years when Ray passed away in 1997. They welcomed 3 children, Albert, Deborah, and Rebecca.

In 1975 they bought A&L Glass. They sold the business in 1981 to Harding Glass. She continued working for Harding Glass until 1983 when Mary Lou and Ray opened Johnson Glass. She sold Johnson Glass in 1999. She later worked at the Moose Lodge and Sams Industrial until retirement in 2012.

She was a big fan of O.U. Softball, and Penn State women’s soccer. She loved riding her horse, Gayla. She loved bowling, softball, volleyball, and racing go-carts. She loved watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren race Moto-Cross and wrestle. She loved spending all of her free time with all of her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She was a member of the First Christian Church and served as a Deacon and Elder for several years.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ray, son Albert, her parents, her 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Deborah Rae Duran (Mike), Ponca City and Rebecca Lynn Lietke (Dale), Stillwater. 8 grandchildren, Kara Cook (Ann), State College, PA, Samantha McGee, Chicago, IL, Michael Duran (Holly) and Zackery Duran, Ponca City, Tiffany Sullivan, Bixby, Leslie Battles (Tommy), Cushing, Jennifer Gerolaga (Benny), Ripley, Shelby Duffle (Joey), Guthrie. 15 Great Grand Children, 1 Great Great Grandson, 1 brother Boyd Keith Mason (Sharon), Novi, MI, 1 sister, Shirley Buerger, Tulsa and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be June 29, 2023 at 11:00 at Resthaven Cemetery in Ponca City.
