July 14, 1930-September 25, 2023 Marsha Townley was born July 14, 1930 to Omer O. Chaney and Lorena Leonard Chaney, Healdton, OK. She passed away on September 25, 2023 in Oklahoma City. She was married on May 24, 1947 to Elden A. Townley who predeceased her in 2008. Marsha was a member of Britton Road Church of Christ where she participated in preparing Mobile Meals until October 2021. She loved people and dogs. Her ministry to friends, family and acquaintance’s was writing beautiful and thoughtful cards and letters.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law’s, Jan and Fred Horton and Jo and Ron Kisner; her brother Terry Chaney and wife Ernestine; her sisters Linda O’Malley and Judy Watson; her sisters-in-law Melba McGhee, Kathleen Chaney, Peggy Rice and husband Larry, and Margaret Townley; grandchildren Scott Kisner and wife Tina, Chris Kisner and Nikki Hynes; great granddaughter Ashley Kisner Bravata and husband Ricky and their children Eleanor and Archer Bravata; a host of loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Survivors also include her dear friend Wayne Nash and his family, her Church family and many loving and caring friends and neighbors.

She was predeceased by her brothers Lowell Chaney, Gerald Chaney and wife Lolita; and brothers-in-law Eddie Townley and J.R. Townley and wife Doris.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Home in Oklahoma City, OK.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 4 at Britton Road Church of Christ, 2520 W. Britton Road, Oklahoma City, OK. Burial is at 11 AM on Monday, October 2 at Resthaven Cemetery, 1901 E. Hubbard Road, Ponca City, OK.
