Joyce Eileen (Baker) Currier, age 80, resident of Ponca City, OK, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024, in Tulsa, OK.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 8, 2024, at the Lamont Cemetery in Lamont, OK, with Pastor Lynn Schuyler officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.

Joyce was born on January 10, 1944, in Ponca City, OK, to Harry Edward Baker and Ruby Mildred (Anderson). She married William “Tom” Currier in 1969 in Ponca City, and she was a homemaker/farmers’ wife in Lamont until 2000. When they moved back to Ponca City, they became members of the Central Baptist Church in the early 2000s. Joyce loved gardening and being involved in her grandkids’ lives.

She is survived by her husband Tom Currier; daughters Patricia Cox, and Sharon Harp and husband Brian; son Brad; sister Sandra Rogers and husband Lowell; grandchildren Joshua and wife Courtney, Caleb, Sara, Scott and wife Delcia, Sean, and Shannon; great grandchildren Daxxon, Declan, Milo, and Tate.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Ruby Baker; sister Margaret Ann Mullen; and grandchildren Lindsey Nicole Harp and Summer Dawn Harp.
