Joan Hendrickson, 87, beloved Mother, Grandmother and Sister was called to her eternal resting place on October 5, 2021. She entered this world on June 7, 1934, in Hominy, Oklahoma, born to James B. Pearce and Eunice M. Frailey Pearce.

Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, October 8, 2021, in the Longwood Cemetery with Pastor Francis Bartley officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City, OK.

Joan grew up in Kay County and she met the love of her life, Hal Hendrickson and they were married December 25, 1951, in Kaw City, OK and they made their home in Ponca City, OK. Joan enjoyed cooking, Gardening, Reading, spending time with family. Joan was also known for always caring for others. Joan was also a longtime member of the Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son Charlie Hendrickson and wife Thomasine of Ponca City, OK One brother: Gordon Pearce and wife Marilyn of Borger, TX her favorite Granddaughter Ashley Mixon and husband Jeremy, Brett Hendrickson, Thomas Hendrickson and wife Chelsi, Tanner Hendrickson, Beau Hendrickson and wife Anna, Melody Bradley, Lisa Murphy, and husband Jace, Jennifer Vaughan, and Matthew Hendrickson, also surviving are Fourteen Great Grandchildren, one niece and one nephew.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, husband Hal of 61 years, two sons: Mark Hendrickson and James Hendrickson.
