Jo Monica (Warrior) Burgess, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, was born November 18, 1933 in Fairfax, Oklahoma. She passed away in Irving, Texas, on November 29, 2023 at 90 years of age.

Jo Monica was born to Arthur Joseph Warrior and Maxine Lucille Harris Warrior. She married Robert G. Burgess in 1953 in Fairfax and shortly after made their forever home in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Robert worked at the Ponca City Post Office for 26 years and Jo Monica provided the comfort and heart of the home they happily shared for 68 years until his death in 2021. She moved to Texas to be closer to her family.
