Frances was born in Stuart, Ok to Bill and Myrtle Nunn on May 21, 1934. She preferred to go by her middle name Deonne. She was raised and graduated in Stuart, Ok. She met James T. Crosthwait and was married in 1951 and later divorced in 1979.

They had two sons James R. Crosthwait, McAlister, Ok and Shane Crosthwait (Lisa) of Bartlesville, OK. Three grandsons and nine great grandchildren. Robert Crosthwait (Cassie), Becca, Eli, Cole, Lu, Genny and Des of Albion, Maine. Mitch Crosthwait (Danielle), Jackson of Bartlesville, Ok and Bryce Crosthwait (Gabriela), Audrey and Murphy of Bartlesville, Ok.

Deonne was a lifelong member of The Church of Christ. She was a very loving, caring, kind and generous woman and will be greatly missed by all her family as well as nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Her hobbies were reading, going to the movies, walking, shopping and spending time with her family.

She has been under Hospice care, contracted Covid and died due to complications. Her funeral will be April 15, 2023, at 1:00 pm at the Pryor Cemetery in Stuart, Ok.
