Elizabeth “Liz” Ann Smith gained her wings on April 18th 2021 at 6:05 pm surrounded by her family. Liz was born on January 21, 1958 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Robert Earl Suter and Marguerite (Gulick) Suter. She was raised and educated in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. Liz married Mike Smith on March 11th, 1994. She worked several jobs throughout her life. She spent most of her career at Chapman Shoes where she enjoyed meeting and serving her customers.

Liz was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went and her customers at Chapman Shoes loved her as well.

After an early retirement she enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family. Her house was always pristine. She loved cooking, gardening, crafts, listening to music and dancing, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. Liz was always kind and thinking of others. She was a huge scary movie buff. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

Those she leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include: Her husband, Mike Smith. Daughter, Hailie Courtney and fiancé Derick Tallent of Oklahoma City, son, Damon Smith of the home. Three grandchildren, Kassidy Courtney, Cierra Callahan and Thomas Callahan. Her sister, Deneise Miner and husband Steve Miner of Ponca City, her brothers Bill Suter and wife Nancy of Broken Arrow and Jim Suter of Oklahoma City. Niece, Stacey Burton and husband Darrell Burton of Tulsa, Nephew’s, Cody Suter of Broken Arrow and Jeremy Suter of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by bonus son Kaden Baker of Kildare and bonus daughter Rileigh Hilton of Ponca City and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marguerite Suter and Grandmother Eva Gulick.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life May 15th at 1:30 pm.
