Dennis (Denny) Carley Tibbles, son of Ivan Carley and Geraldine (Nicholson) Tibbles was born November 16, 1959, in Council Bluffs, Iowa and died January 11, 2023, at his home in Ponca City, OK, at the age of 63 years, 1 month, and 25 days.

In 1980 Dennis married Sally Ann Fryback and they had two children, Jesse Carley Tibbles and Daniel Aaron Tibbles. In 2005 Dennis and Sally moved to Ponca City, OK where they lived at the time of his death.

His family moved from Iowa to Colby, KS when he was 5 years old where he attended Colby Public Schools. His family moved to Grainfield, KS during his junior year of high school where he graduated Wheatland High School in 1978.

His hobbies included muscle cars (Mopars), go carts, mini bikes, and fishing. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family. Family was important to Dennis and he was blessed that both of his boys lived close and they were able to continue spending a lot of quality time with each other. He was such a great Dad and Papa.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Ivan and Geraldine Tibbles. He is survived by his loving wife, Sally, and his children Jesse Joanna) of Salina, KS; Daniel (katy) of Ponca City, OK. Grandchildren Aubree, Atleigh, Ledger and Wrenlee of Ponca City, OK. His sister Sheryl Weaver and husband Mike of Oakland, IA, Leroy (Butch) Tibbles and wife Ronda of Colby, KS, Kathleen Vernon of Rowlett, TX, Donna Haines and husband Verlin of Oakland, IA, Chris Petersen and husband Bobby of Wills Point, TX, along with many nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service scheduled at a later date.
