Cynthia J. (Gibson) Moore, 60, of Newkirk passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019 in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 6, 2019 at the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City. Memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post 18 Youth Fund, contributions may be left in care of the funeral home.

Cynthia was born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 23, 1959 the daughter of Otis Gibson and Barbara (Dalton) Steele. She graduated in 1977 from Greensboro, North Carolina High School. Cynthia worked in the Albertsons warehouse of Ponca City for 16 years, she also co-owned the Taco Tico franchise in Arkansas City, Ponca City and Winfield. Cynthia lived together with Elmer Moore for 15 years and was united in marriage on October 12, 2011, in Danville, Virginia. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino and working on updating her home, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Elmer Moore, stepchildren: Tom Moore and wife Joy Lynn, Tracy Moore, RaNae Sackett and husband Dan, Jason Moore, Julie Rogers and husband Ricky; mother Barbara Steele; brothers: Mike Gibson, Pete Gibson and Johnny Steele; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Cynthia is preceded in death by her father, and stepdaughter Valerie Lynn. paid obituary
