Carolyn Sue (Sisco) Barnett, age 74, resident of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Stillwater medical Center. She was born September 6, 1948 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Russel T. and Maggie E. (Mizell) Sisco. She graduated from Pawnee High School with the Class of 1966.

Carolyn retired from OSU (Kerr Drummond) Food Service in 2011 after 43 years of service. She married David Barnett on February 14, 1998, celebrating 25 years. She is survived by her husband David and sister Cathie Sisco of the home. her stepdaughters: Kristal Sams and husband Robert, step grandsons Tyler Sams and Bradley Sams all of Guthrie.

Also her siblings: Dorothy Smith of Sapulpa, OK; Lonnie Sisco, Connie Mullennax and husband (terry), Kenneth Sisco, Larry Sisco and wife (Tammy), all of Ponca City, OK. LaDonna Sisco, Cindy Sinor and husband (Jim), Terry Sisco, all of Marland, OK. Tamie Schneeberger and husband (Jerry) of Lamont, OK. Sisters in law; Cheryl Sisco of Ochelata, OK, Theresa Williams and husband (Paul) of Red Rock, OK, Cindy Bohnstedt of Stillwater, OK. Brothers in law; Kenny Barnett and wife (Linda) of Perry, Ok, Paul Barnett and wife (Suzy) of Livingston, Montana, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Donald Sisco, Ronald Sisco, sisters; DeAnna Sisco, Denise McClaflin; brothers in law; Darwin McClaflin, Jimmie Smith; sister in law Diana Sisco; nephew James Dale Smith.

The family is honoring Carolyn’s wishes of not having a service at this time.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors of Enid.
