Albert (Al) Dale Cooper was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on Wednesday, August 23, 1944,to Shelby Glen and Ruth Christine (Butler) Cooper. He passed from this life to his eternalhome in heaven on Sunday, July 17, 2022, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma surrounded by hisloving family at the age of 77.

Al was one of three boys born to the Coopers. He was born in Sapulpa and grew up inBlackwell.He fell in lo ve and married Vivian Janzen on August 8, 1975, in Medford, Oklahoma. Theymoved to Broken Arrow where Al attended Rhema Bible College. The couple had threechildren.

Al enjoyed his work which was primarily in sales. He had a passion for music. He andVivian sang in a gospel quartet early in their marriage. As their children grew older, thefamily sang together at various churches and events. He and Vivian were members of TheRidge Church in Broken Arrow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Al’s name to the building fund of TheRidge Church.

Left to cherish his memory are wife, Vivian, of the home in Broken ArrowDaughter, Shauna Herrmann and her husband, Jason of TulsaSon, Justin Wade Cooper and his partner, Chloe Wilson of Tuls aSon, Brandon Cody Cooper, and his wife Carley of SperryThree Grandchildren: Cooper McCoy Herrmann, Sawyer M arie Herrmann, and Cora Mae-CooperBrother, Shelby Glen Cooper, Jr., and his wife Kim of Ponca City

Those who preceded Al in death are his parents, Shelby Glen and Ruth Cooper and onebrother, Robert (Bob) Cooper.

Funeral service will be held July 22, 10 am, at The Ridge, 7401 South 209th East Avenue, Broken Arrow, OK, with graveside service to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Mounds, OK at 12 pm.
