Adoptable Pets

Body
Blackwell Animal Shelter Spotlight These two beautiful ladies are currently up for adoption at the Blackwell Animal Shelter. These two incredible dogs, Tori and Cece, were found after they had been neglected and abandoned by her previous owners in a home that contained five other dogs. Each animal from this situation, was forced to live the half of a life that they were living, covered in their own feces and urine with no access to the outside world. When animals come from situations such as this one, they are often scarred and traumatized by what has been done to them. While Tori and Cece are not immune to those issues, they seem to have bounced back incredibly well, both mentally and physically, from the neglect that they endured.

Burbank First Baptist Church News

As Pastor, I have been truly blessed to have a loving and caring church family. They are so much more than brothers and sisters in Christ. They are all my friends who are willing to pray for the need of the church family. Those prayers also extend to personal relationships that each have with their friends. If someone has a prayer concern for themselves, family members, or friends they are quick to ask others to pray for them. Our prayer list that is published in our church bulletin is very lengthy. Some have been there for many weeks. It is amazing how many lives we can touch by praying for the need of others. What is an even greater testimony are the answers to the prayers that are being offered. Jesus instructed his followers to pray believing. In Mark 11:24 Jesus said these words, “Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Many requests may seem impossible for us but Jesus said in Mark 9:23, “...If thou will believe, all things are possible to him that believe.” You are traveling the road of life that has obstacles that need to be overcome. God wants to help you be a person that overcomes each situation that requires prayer to help you resolve. It would be wise to spend more time in prayer than you have in the past. Do not just assume that the Lord knows all about your problems. The Lord wants to hear from you. The Lord would like for you to attend the worship service of your choice. Share your faith with others. It does have benefits that are out of this world.
