Blackwell Animal Shelter Spotlight These two beautiful ladies are currently up for adoption at the Blackwell Animal Shelter. These two incredible dogs, Tori and Cece, were found after they had been neglected and abandoned by her previous owners in a home that contained five other dogs. Each animal from this situation, was forced to live the half of a life that they were living, covered in their own feces and urine with no access to the outside world. When animals come from situations such as this one, they are often scarred and traumatized by what has been done to them. While Tori and Cece are not immune to those issues, they seem to have bounced back incredibly well, both mentally and physically, from the neglect that they endured.

Tori is the white heeler mix and she is estimated to be about 5 years old. Not only is she gorgeous with her expressive eyes and adorable crooked ear, but she is one of the most loving and sweet dogs you will ever meet. Tori is absolutely obsessed with people and is dog friendly as well. It is her dream, as well as the Animal Control Officers’ dreams, that Tori finds a loving home with kids, a backyard, and a clean bed. Tori deserves to have a taste of the good life, and everyone is hoping that all she has for the rest of her life. CeCe is the brown, two year old boxer mix. While she can be a little more standoffish at first, She is truly an incredibly sweet dog. She is well mannered and she warms up very quickly to people. While she might seem intimidating, there isn’t a mean bone in her body.

The mission for the Blackwell Animal Shelter, is simply to help the animals in unfortunate environments find a family that will fit with their needs and give them a happy life. Because of this, the Blackwell Animal Control has even waived these two dogs’ adoption fees for the right home. Both of these girls are the sweetest babies and they deserve a second chance at an amazing life.
