Po-Hi alumni and local business owner Nga Ly Wells embodies the “Once a Wildcat, Always a Wildcat” mantra.

Recently, her Wildcat spirit sparked the desire to collect and display one Cat Tale yearbook from every school year possible. After reaching out to the current Cat Tale advisor, Paige Marsh (who coincidentally was Ms. Wells’ ninth grade English teacher and career sponsor) and learning the availability of retired yearbooks, Ms. Wells was able to jumpstart her yearbook collection with a sizeable addition of Po-Hi yearbooks.

Meanwhile, as the yearbook staff gathered the books for Ms. Wells’ collection, they came across several boxes of paper photographs that had been in storage, forgotten for 15-20 years. The staff (junior and senior girls at Po-Hi) immediately recognized the sentimental value of the paper photographs while realizing they were valued treasures of another time and generation. They asked Ms. Wells if she would be willing to take the boxes of photos to display and share in a way the Cat Tale staff could not. The yearbooks and pictures will soon be available to see and enjoy at Nga Wells State Farm at 1904 Union Street, Suite 107.

To celebrate the graduation and the Class of 2023, all retired, in-stock Cat Tale yearbooks are $23 during the month of May ONLY. Interested alumni may contact Marsh at marshp@pcps.us for yearbook availability.
