VFW Post 1201 celebrates National Vietnam Veterans Day

VFW Post 1201 held an event for National Vietnam Veterans Day on Monday, March 29. Veterans, their spouses, families and the public came by to enjoy food, drinks and the opportunity to get together and honor the veterans of Vietnam. Many organizations came out to the event including Veteran’s Landing, AMBUCS, AllianceHealth, Caption Call, Hospice of North Central Oklahoma and the VFW Auxiliary. Drawings for prizes were held, a projector with videos were shown, a group of kids came out to perform patriotic music, Michael Littlevoice performed a blessing for the veterans, and a memorial service was held at 7 p.m. that evening.
