Internationally acclaimed boogie woogie, blues and jazz pianist, Silvan Zingg, will be performing a live solo concert at the Poncan Theatre on Saturday, July 22.

Hailing from Lugano, Switzerland, Zingg came from a family with musical talent. He started by improvising on his mother’s piano as a young boy. His first United States appearance was at the age of 18 at the South Carolina Masters of Boogie Night in Charleston.

Zingg’s career has spanned 30 years as a professional entertainer and is one of the most sought after pianist throughout the world with concerts and programs in 50 countries across Europe, Asia, North America, South America, and Africa. Zingg has also performed with various music legends such as B.B. King, Chuck Berry, Carlos Santana, Quincy Jones, and George Benson, among others. He has also been named the “Boogie Woogie Ambassador of Switzerland” by international press.
