The small businesses of Ponca City ask the citizens and surrounding communities to shop locally this holiday season. Not only does this help support fellow citizens, but it also helps to build up the community. Ponca City is rich with small businesses. Whether it be the next addition to your personal library at Brace Books and More, items for the little ones at The Farm House Kids Co., or so much more throughout the community, Ponca City has the options.

Over the weekend of Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, many of these shops reached out to thank the community for thinking of them.

Not only are small businesses citizens of Ponca City, but they make sure to stay active in the community as well. Brace Books and More have regular book signings and story times. Their next scheduled story time is set for Dec. 17, where they will be reading “Twas the Night Before Christmas in Oklahoma.” Another local business, The Farm House Kids Co., is bringing Santa to town for the children on Dec. 3rd at Ice on the Plaza.
