The Poncan Theatre set out to replace their old seats in their “Save a Seat” campaign that provided hose in the community with the opportunity to purchase a seat that would bear the name of a purchaser, business or memorial along with the seat number. Seat removal took place from July 25 to July 29 with the installation completed recently.The first event with the new seats will be held on Friday, Sept. 2 with a showing of 1999’s The Mummy starring Brendan Fraser  with two showings at 7 pm and 9:30 pm.
