Accident - At 1:53 am, the reporting party requested options on an accident that occurred near 1202 E. Prospect. The vehicle was located at Johnstone Supply and a report was taken. The driver was taken home prior to the reporting party’s call. A warrant request was also taken.

Burglary - At 8:48 am, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to someone having stole his furniture at an unknown time from 1208 S. 9th. Options were given on a civil issue.

Vandalism - At 11:25 am, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to vandalism in the area of 928 Riviera. No report, the reporting party requested an extra patrol.

Vandalism - At 11:28 am, the reporting party advised of three juveniles on foot in the 300 block of S. Birch, damaging mailboxes and other things. They were last seen westbound on Oklahoma.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle - At 12:34 pm, the reporting party advised of a male subject wearing a white hat, black tank top, jeans, and a backpack that was riding down the street and threatening people with a knife at Oak and Summit. Last seen going into a house. The reporting party last saw them around 727 N. Oak.

Reckless Driver - At 2:40 pm, the reporting party advised of a reckless driver at Prospect and 14th. Vehicle was a solid white Ford Flex. Last seen northbound on 14th.

Reckless Driver - At 7:21 pm, a vehicle was driving on the wrong side of the road going southbound in the northbound lane at Hwy 77 and Coleman.

Disturbance - At 7:45 pm, the reporting party on 911 requested an officer in reference to a female threatening to harm them. Female left from 1709 Clarke and went to 1705 Clarke and assaulted an elderly female by grabbing her arm. Officer #24 took Alicia Murray, 07/1993, into custody for public intoxication.

Check for Wanted - At 8:07 pm, the reporting party advised of a Selena Mireles in the area of 1020 S. 5th and has warrants. Officer #44 took Selena Mireles, 06/2003, into custody for operating without being licensed -2nd offense or more, and excessive speed - 1st offense.

July 13, 2023

Disturbance - At 1:04 am, the reporting party advised of seven to eight shots from a semi automatic gun in the area of 14th and Cooley.

Man with Weapon - At 1:13 am, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to a vehicle being shot up at 1009 E. Ponca.

Homicide - At 1:48 am, the reporting party on 911 requested an officer in reference to a possible gunshot victim at Paladin Apartments near the 700 building. Subject was transported by ambulance and pronounced dead at 2:39 am.

Reckless Driver - At 8:50 am, the reporting party advised of a man riding a three-wheeled bike in the middle of the southbound lane at 14th and South. The reporting party advised it was a traffic hazard.

Accident - At 1:18 pm, an employee at Walmart requested an officer in reference to a two vehicle accident in the parking lot at Row 8 between a white Ford pickup and a silver Jeep. Parties exchanged information and left.

Vandalism - At 6:41 pm, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to her boyfriend breaking her car windows at 1506 S. 9th. While on scene, the reporting party advised of an assault that occurred. The reporting party did not want to pursue charges for either incident. Information was taken for a report.

Traffic Stop - At 8:23 pm, a traffic stop occurred at 1st and Otoe. Officer #29 took Deshone Boler, 07/2000, into custody for Garfield County warrants.

Domestic - At 9:29 pm, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to her ex-boyfriend having physically assaulted her. Officer #14 took Ricardo Gadson, 02/1987, into custody.

Prowler - At 11:37 pm, a subject was laying down outside the residence at 312 E. Park, beside the garage. Officer #24 took David Churchwell, 1997, into custody for public intoxication.
