June 8, 2023 Man with Weapon - At 2:55 am, the reporting party advised there was a male trying to break into their vehicle at 1515 W. Highland. The suspect pulled a gun out on the reporting party’s boyfriend and ran. Officer took Alex Ortiz, 2004, for pointing a firearm, use of firearm while committing a felony, public intoxication, carrying a concealed weapon, burglary third degree, use of a firearm while committing a felony, carrying a concealed weapon, receiving, possessing, or concealing a stolen vehicle, and Kay County warrants for conspiracy to commit a felony and burglary third degree.

Field Interview - At 4:31 am, an officer was out with one at Ash and Central. Officer took Sunny Eagle, 29, into custody for public intoxication.

Traffic Stop - At 6:40 am, a traffic stop occurred at 5th and Park. Officer took Frederick Burley, 1973, for Kay County and city warrants.

Follow Up - At 7:27 am, Officer #34 took Kevin Lawson, 10/1990 for grand larceny, leaving the scene of property damage accident, failure to obey rules of roadway, and failure to secure load.

Welfare Check - At 1:23 pm, the reporting party requested a welfare check on a male wearing a white shirt and black shorts laying in the ditch east of 620 Shannon Road. Officer #34 took Dylan Matthews, 07/1984, into custody for public intoxication and resisting arrest.

Reckless Driver - At 3:52 pm, the reporting party on 911 requested an officer in reference to a gray 2005 Chevy with the tag MOV562, possibly stuck on the railroad track at Prospect or recklessly driving. The call kept cutting out. Officer #30 advised there was no vehicle on the tracks.

Extra Patrol - At 5:01 pm, an extra patrol was requested in reference to parting and loud music in the area of 9th and Drummond. Everything checked okay.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle At 7:24 pm, the reporting party advised of a silver Sedan with dealer plates that was driving slowly in the alley near 1700 N. Osage. The reporting party advised it passed by the residence four times. The reporting palled back and advised it drove by again. It was currently on the north end of the alley.

Domestic - At 10:58 pm, the reporting party requested an officer to the area of 811 N. 1st in reference to a verbal domestic over property.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle - At 11:48 pm, the reporting party requested an officer to check on at white male wearing a captain’s hat and a green tie at Stop N Go saying strange things. They advised he would not leave the store.
