May 5, 2023 Disturbance - At 12:45 am, the reporting party advised of two males screaming near the Lazy K Motel. An officer took Mark Choate, 41, into custody for Kay County warrants and for possession of controlled dangerous substance.

Pick- up Lost/Found - At 11:11 am, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to a knife found at the playground next to the duck ponds. Officer made contact with a subject that advised the knife was trash and they could dispose of it how they wanted to.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle - At 12:53 pm, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to a white van with no windows that was sitting at 2901 Meadow Lane for an hour and a half. She thought it was suspicious. Officer #22 advised the vehicle belonged to Hicks Electric.

Accident - At 4:08 pm, a one vehicle minor accident with no injuries occurred near IQ Car Wash. Vehicle moved into the parking lot.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle - At 6:38 pm, the reporting party advised of a group of people sitting on the porch at 1007 S. 5th. The reporting party advised the house was vacant.

Theft/Shoplifting - At 6:48 pm, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to a male that cut all the roses of a rose bush at 321 N. 3rd. She wants to sign a complaint. Problem half advised he was picking flowers for his wife, and was told not to do so.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle - At 11:40 pm, the reporting party advised of two males in black hoodies walking up people’s driveways to look in vehicles. Last seen southbound from 718 Dalewood Lane.

May 6, 2023 Burglary - At 1:01 am, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to a vehicular burglary at 121 Fairview. Two subjects in black hoodies ran southbound.

Rape - At 2:04 am, the reporting party requested to speak to an officer in reference to a rape that occurred that eventing.

Intoxicated Pedestrian - At 2:18 am, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to a male who was extremely intoxicated and kept falling down at 720 S. Waverly. Officer #31 took Alexander Fox, 12/01, for public intoxication.

Extra Patrol - At 3:16 am, the reporting party requested an extra patrol in reference to a previous vandalism in the area of 3202 Kingston.

Domestic - At 3:54 am, the reporting party advised of a physical domestic at 1205 E. Bradley. The reporting party advised there was a gun in the house. Officer #19 took Mario Elston, 12/89, for domestic assault and battery by strangulation.

Arrest - At 7:24 am, Officer #22 took Thomas Burgess, 07/87, into custody for his local warrants.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle - At 2:07 pm, the reporting party advised of a subject trying to make entry into 1016 N. 2nd through a back window. Officer #22 advised the house was still secured. Officer #30 took Sage Sawyer into custody for Kay County warrants for misdemeanor breaking and entering a dwelling without permission, and city confirmed warrants for assault and battery, and possession of paraphernalia.

Accident - At 2:32 pm, an elderly male fell off a bike in the roadway at 14th and Prospect. Subject had a head injury, but managed to move to the side walk. Subject was okay, and EMS checked him out.

Reckless Driver - At 3:26 pm, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to subjects on a motorcycle driving back and fourth at a high rate of speed in the 100 block of E. Woodbury. The reporting party was worried for the safety of children in the area.

Theft/Shoplifting - At 5:35 pm, an employee at Oscar and Essies requested an officer in reference to shoplifting. A female subject in a white dress stole a couple of bottles of alcohol and left in a red vehicle with tag ARE415. Possible headed southbound on Union.

Traffic Stop - At 8:22 pm, a traffic stop occurred at 2nd and Broadway. Officer #43 took a juvenile into custody, while Officer #48 took Devon Mook, 03/2000, into custody for reckless driving and possession of marijuana.

Extra Patrol - At 9:29 pm, an extra patrol was requested in the area of 728 N. Elm in reference to previous attempted burglary. The reporting party advised that someone got into the residence and stole bologna.

Stolen Vehicle - The reporting party requested an officer in reference to her purple 2017 Buick Encore that was stolen sometime in the past two hours. Vehicle had Oklahoma tag number LNY848 with a disc golf sticker on the back window. Vehicle was last seen taken at 9:30 pm from Ponca City.

Disturbance - At 11:03 pm, the reporting party advised of six gunshots in the area of 905 Rosedale.
