April 19, 2023 Burglary - At 1:39 am, the reporting party advised they found two suspects breaking into her neighbor’s vehicle at 2217 Oriole St. Officer #46 took a female juvenile into custody.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle At 2:37 am, an officer advised there was a subject in a white hoodie and black shorts running the east alley in the 1600 block of N. Osage. Officer took a juvenile male into custody.

Accident - At 4:49 am, the reporting party advised of a one vehicle accident at Lake Road and Pecan, no injuries. Officers advised it was out of their jurisdiction. Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) and Kay County Sheriff’s Office were advised.

Extra Patrol - At 9:30 am, the reporting party requested an extra patrol in reference to auto burglaries in the 2000 block of N. Osage.

Theft/Shoplifting - At 12:43 pm, the reporting party at Willow Creek Apartments requested an officer in reference to the theft of her eye glass lens.

Accident - At 2:26 pm, a two vehicle accident occurred at Walmart. Warners towed a black 2013 GMC Terrain and Budget towed a black 2020 GMC Acadia.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle At 2:51 pm, there was a male in a red shirt with the number “11” on the back that was rolling over the ground at East Middle School. Officer #44 took Joshua Shrewsbury, 10/1985, into custody for public intoxication.

Reckless Driver - At 5:53 pm, the reporting party advised of juveniles riding scooters in the roadway at Central and Osage. Advised they were not moving for traffic.

Trespassing - At 7:28 pm, the reporting party advised of possible squatters in the residence on the corner of the 200 block of N. Lake. Officer #11 took Cameron Welch, 04/1979, into custody for city warrants for unlawful use of gas/water/ electric/cable services.

Field Interview - At 7:47 pm, a field interview occurred with one subject at 1st and Broadway. Officer #47 took Bradly Carlson 06/1995, into custody for possession of paraphernalia, carrying a weapon while under the influence, public intoxication, and destruction of property.

Assault - At 8:35 pm, the reporting party advised that his friend’s parents pulled up to the beach at Lake Ponca and started to verbally and physically assault the reporting party and his friends. Parents were trying to leave in a silver Cadillac Escalade.

Reckless Driver - At 9:59 pm, Officer #15 advised of two cars racing southbound on 14th. Officer stopped both vehicles. Both drivers were cited and released.
