Wednesday, March 8 Traffic Stop - At 12:21 am, a traffic stop occurred at Chestnut and Oak. Officer #44 took Buck Jones, 6/70, into custody for possession of controlled dangerous substance without tax stamp.

Stolen Vehicle - At 1:47 am, Kay County Sheriff’s Office requested an officer to go make contact with a subject in reference to the subject’s stolen 2020 Chevy truck. The vehicle was stopped in Kay County and the thieves advised they stole it an hour prior at 2016 Meadowbrook.

Extra Patrol - At 8:40 am, the reporting party called in reference to a silver Jeep with an Oklahoma tag LOA095, was driving aggressively in the area of Broadway and Palm. Unknown direction of travel.

Accident - A two vehicle minor accident occurred in the roadway at 9:35 am at 10th and Grand. No injuries. Officer #48 advised that both vehicles were driven from the scene.

Check for Wanted - Officer #48 took Damion Oakes-Ryan, 10/16/1995, into custody for possession of paraphernalia, petit larceny, assault and battery on a police officer, obstructing an officer, and resisting an executive officer.

Disturbance - At 2:43 pm, second hand information from a reporting party advised that a subject was causing a disturbance with an elderly couple at 505 S. 10th. Officer #43 took Heriberto Longoria, 04/1978, into custody for Kay County warrants.

Theft/Shoplifting - At 2:54 pm, An employee at Sonic at 2603 14th St. requested an officer in reference to a subject in a white early 2000s truck that left northbound on 14th after not paying. The reporting party advised they left their debit card.

Extra Patrol - At 4:25 pm, the reporting party requested option on an extra patrol in the area of Popeye’s in reference to threats.

Welfare Check - At 5:30 pm, the reporting party advised of three juvenile females jumping in front of vehicle in the 900 block of N. 2nd. Advised, they were standing on the west side of N. 2nd.

Extra Patrol - At 8:24 pm, the reporting party requested an extra patrol in reference to prowlers in the area of 410 S. Franklin. The only information the reporting party could provide was that they were possibly homeless.

Theft/Shoplifting - At 9:34 pm, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to a theft of a motorized black engine bike with a dent in the gas tank. Advised it was stolen sometime the previous day from 1917 N. 5th.

Extra Patrol - At 10:11 pm, an extra patrol was requested in the area of 408 N. Palm in reference to a neighbor’s pit bull that was running at large and disturbing the reporting party’s dogs.

Intoxicated Driver - At 10:32 pm, the reporting party on 911 requested an officer in reference to an orange Jeep with Texas tag NWS6412. Subject was driving erratically and was possibly intoxicated. The reporting party advised the subject was slurring their words. Last seen southbound on 14th from Green Acres.

Traffic Stop - At 11:30 pm, an officer advised he was out with the orange jeep from earlier at 14th and Patton. Officer #14 took Mason Weaver, 1994, into custody for aggravated DUI, open container, defective vehicle, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana without a license.
