Vandalism - At 8:33 am on Dec. 9, the Park Department requested an officer in reference to vandalism to the bathrooms near the playground at Lake Ponca.

Arrest - At 10:56 am, Officer #24 took Celia Newlin, 02/1983, into custody for her city warrants for petit larceny. #24 also took Patrick McKay, 01/1976, for his city warrants for traffic x2.

Accident - At 2:15 pm, a truck ran over a fire hydrant near the Pioneer Woman statue. The roadway was cleared.

Theft/Shoplifting - The reporting party requested an officer and advised her credit card was stolen from the Dollar General located at 211 W. Hartford. When she tried to get the card back, she was assaulted.

Disturbance - At 5:10 pm, a male wearing a white hoodie, and a red and black cap was attempting to get into the reporting party’s vehicle. Officer #55 took Lemuel Rhodd, 08/1983, for public intoxication.

Arrest - At 6:41 pm, Officer #52 took James Moreland, 11/1964, for trespass, obtained property by trick or deception, possession of marijuana, conspiracy to commit a crime, and petit larceny.

Vandalism - At 6:59 pm, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to the back windshield on his 2012 Impala was broken. Nothing was stolen. Incident occurred at 405 S. Osage.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle - At 9:03 pm, the reporting party requested a welfare check on a male rolling around in the driveway in the 400 block of N. Oak. Officer #52 took Jackey Matthews, 05/1989, for public intoxication.

Disturbance - At 10:39 pm, the reporting party advised his daughter and her boyfriend were being followed by a red four-door car and a blue Camaro. The reporting party advised he was told the subjects pulled firearms and threatened them with it, then they fled to the plot.

Hit and Run Accident - At 10:59 pm, the reporting party advised of a red vehicle that hit him at Overbrook and Virginia. Last seen north on Elmwood from Highland.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle - At 12:45 am on Dec. 10, the reporting party advised of a male looking into vehicles. He was wearing a black coat. Officer #50 transported a juvenile male. He was cited and released.

Field Interview - A field interview was conducted at Triple T at 4:24 am. Officer #48 took Sheldon Tawkoyty, 12/01, for public intoxication.

Stolen Vehicle - At 12:07 pm, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to a white 2014 Ford Focus with a paper tag that was being stolen at 407 S. 14th. Vehicle recovered and returned to the owner. Officer #51 took Wazhinguda Horinek, 07/12/99, for local warrants.

Assault - At 3:43 pm, an employee at Ponca City Library requested an officer in reference to a subject on scene with a firearm in a purse. The reporting party advised another individual was accusing the subject of possible abuse. Accusations about firearm was unfounded.

Burglary - At 6:15 pm, a 911 reporting party advised of an attempted break in at 215 N. Elm. One subject, unknown description, was screaming at other people in the area. Officer found open door at 209 N. Elm. Residence was cleared and secured.

Check for Wanted - At 7:33 pm, Barbara Arbona, 01/05/1994, has city confirmed warrants for possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, left of center in marked zone, false information, petit larceny, carrying an offensive weapon, and possession of marijuana without a medical license.

Field Interview - At 8:52 pm, an Officer was out with two in the 100 block of N. Pine. Officer #48 took Michael Hankins, 07/1988, into custody for Kay County warrants.

Miscellaneous - The reporting party advised of two possible gun shots to the south of the 300 block of S. Osage at 10:23 pm.

Disturbance - At 12:25 am, an officer advised he heard three to four gunshots to the south of Oak and Grand.

Assault - At 7:14 am, the reporting party on 911 requested an officer in reference to a John Wayne Allen Sr. that broke into the reporting party’s house and beat him up. Officer #32 took John Allen, 07/1991, for burglary first degree, and assault.

Hit and Run Accident - The reporting party requested an officer in reference to a hit and run accident at Walmart at 4:43 pm.

Check for Wanted - At 6:31 pm, Officer #48 took Michael Shrewsbury, 07/1970, for local and Kay County warrants.

Check for Wanted - Sage Sawyer, 04/08/1997, has confirmed Kay County warrants for possession of controlled dangerous substance (meth) and city confirmed warrants for assault and battery. Officer #48 took Sawyer into custody.
