Structure Fire— A structure fire occurred on the 800 block of north Palm on Friday at 12:32 a.m. Fire Units and officers responded and a report was taken.

Hit and Run Accident— A two vehicle accident occurred on Friday at 1:47 p.m. at the intersection of 14th and Prospect Ave. It involved a black Toyota and a white SUV. Newkirk Police Department was advised that the white SUV had left the scene and was headed towards them northbound from intersection of Hubbard and Pecan. A report was taken.

Disturbance— An officer was requested to Homeland on the 2000 block of north 14th St. on Friday at 6:59 p.m. in reference to a customer who was allowing his dogs to run in and out of the store. The manager of Homeland asked for a trespass warning to be issued for the subject and officers also began a search for the subject involved, Kevin Harris, who had active warrants for his arrest.

Stolen Weapon— An officer responded to the 400 block of west Otoe in regards to a stolen 38 Special from his residence which had occurred in the past couple of days. A report was taken.

Disturbance— A call came in about an incident that had occurred on the 900 block of south 9th St. on Friday at 8:52 p.m. An individual by the name of Sally Thompson was driving by, yelling and cursing at her from a silver SUV . The caller advised officers that this individual had busted out the windows of her residence back in May. A report was taken about harassment.

Fight in Progress/Arrest— Officers responded to the 700 block of north Osage on Friday at 9:05 p.m. in regards to a fight involving Michael Holdeman. The 35 year old male was arrested at the scene for active warrants and transported to jail. A report was taken.

Arrest— An officer responded to Auto Zone on the 2100 block of north 14th St. on Saturday at 4:41 a.m. in reference to a suspicious male sitting by a dumpster in the alley. An officer responded and Donald Jorgensen was arrested for warrants and transported to jail. A report was taken.

Assault— A 911 call came in requesting an officer to the 1400 block of east Oklahoma on Saturday at 9:18 p.m. in reference to her roommate attacking the caller. A report was taken.

Accident— On Sunday at 12:35 a.m. an officer responded to the intersection of Hubbard and Pecan in regards to an accident that had occurred involving a white Chevy truck which was in the ditch just off the roadway. A report was taken.

Intoxicated Pedestrian— An officer was requested to the 300 block of east Albany on Sunday at 5 p.m. in regards to an intoxicated female who had walked into the caller’s home. The caller did not know the subject and an officer located the female subject on north 1st St. and identified her as April Tiger. She was arrested for her active warrants and was transported to jail. A report was taken.
