Piano students of Angela Bunch were presented in a recital Sunday, May 22 at the First Baptist Church assembly center.

Participating in solo performances in the 1:00 recital were Nolan Loe, Bonnie Villines, Rusty Irons, Edlynn Contreras, Ivy Marcheson, Bella Hatcher, Drake Correll and Brynn Liberton. Ethan Longoria, Kenzington Bivins, Claire Davis, Brylen Liberton and Kendra Stolhand also performed.

Nine students participated in the National Federated Music Clubs regional Festival held in Ponca City. Rose Brunette, Brynn Liberton, Kynsley Meeker, Lilly Peitz, Chapman Stewart and Crux Swift were awarded a Superior rating. Students earning a Superior and a spot in the district play-off recital were Kenzington Bivins, Claire Davis and Loretta Stewart. Loretta took second runner up and Kenzington was honorable mention in the Upper Primary division. Kenzington was also awarded her Gold Cup for three years of Superior ratings in the Festival. Claire Davis won first place in the Upper Elementary division. Claire also went on to compete in the state competition held at East Central University on April 30 in Ada and was awarded the Bronze medal in the Upper Primary division.
