Northern Oklahoma College celebrates 50 years of Nursing at a two-day event March 24-25 at NOC Tonkawa.

The event begins Friday night with a mixer at the Cultural Engagement Center and then attending the Redbud Jazz Festival at the Kinzer Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m.

During the day on Saturday, there will be a simulation at the Nursing Skills Lab from 10 a.m. - noon, Campus Tours from 11 a.m. - noon and the Nursing Olympics from 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. The NOC Bookstore will be open from 10 a.m. – noon.

On Saturday evening, the program begins with registration at the Renfro Center at 5 p.m. The keynote speakers at Friday’s dinner include founding director Dr. Thomas Harned, Kim Brewer, DAISY Award Winner for 2022, and LaTasha Campbell, Class of 2022.

NOC Nursing Division Chair Dr. Nikole Hicks and NOC President Dr. Clark Harris will also provide remarks at the event.
